How to reuse FIBC Bulk bag?

For a FIBC bag to be considered reusable, the FIBCA suggests following SOPs:

  • Emptying the bag is one of them.
  • Examining the interior for wear and damage to ensure that repurposing does not backfire. Reject bags that don't adhere to safety requirements.
  • The bag should then be cleared of all leftover material. If there is a lining in the bag, replace it.
  • Recondition the bag so that it can perform as well as it did in the past. If necessary, swap out the cord locks, labels, tickets, and web ties.
  • Keep track of all "reuse" records so you can determine when to dispose of and replace the bag.
  • To determine whether the bags can be reused, subject them to a random safety precaution test.

Consider recycling the bags if you have to reject them during one of the aforementioned procedures.
